How to Diagnose a Faulty Doser Control Board

The doser control board is the brain of your espresso machine’s dosing system. Before replacing it, confirm the fault by checking for these three signs:

1. Touchpad Not Responding and Pump Not Activating

If pressing the dose buttons produces no response and the pump does not activate, the control board has likely lost communication with the touchpad or its internal logic has failed. First check the ribbon cable connection between the touchpad and board — if the connection is secure and the fault persists, the board requires replacement.

2. Water Dispensing Continuously and Not Stopping
