San Remo Cafe Racer L-Fitting – 1/8" Male to 8mm

This is an OEM-specification replacement L-fitting (90° elbow) for the San Remo Cafe Racer espresso machine hydraulic circuit. The fitting connects a 1/8" BSP male threaded port to an 8mm push-fit or compression tube, allowing water lines to change direction within the machine’s tight internal layout. A cracked, stripped, or leaking fitting will cause internal water leaks, pressure loss, and potential damage to surrounding components.

Technical Specifications

  • Type: L-fitting (90° elbow)
  • Thread: 1/8" BSP Male (ø 1/8"M)
  • Tube connection: 8mm
  • Weight: 200g

Compatible San Remo Espresso Machine Models

If you are unsure whether this fitting suits your specific Cafe Racer plumbing configuration, contact our technicians with your machine’s serial number before ordering.

When Should You Replace This L-Fitting?

Replace this fitting if you notice any of the following on your San Remo Cafe Racer: water leaking internally at a 90° connection point, a visibly cracked or corroded fitting body, a stripped 1/8" thread that no longer seals, or an 8mm tube that will not seat or seal correctly in the fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an L-fitting used for in an espresso machine? An L-fitting (90° elbow) allows a water line to change direction by 90°, connecting a threaded port on a component (such as a valve, pump, or boiler) to a tube running in a perpendicular direction. This is essential in compact machine layouts where straight fittings would not fit.

Is this a genuine San Remo part? This is an OEM-specification fitting designed to the same standards as the original San Remo Cafe Racer component.
