Frequently asked questions

What is this microswitch for?

It is listed as the water tank presence microswitch, used to detect whether the tank is in position. It should not be assumed to replace a separate water-level sensor.

Will it fit my Mara or Bianca?

The listed models are Mara PL62, PL62S, PL62T and Bianca PL162T. Compare the mounting, actuator and terminals with your original switch before purchasing.

Will it fix a machine that does not recognise the tank?

That symptom alone does not confirm a faulty switch. Have tank positioning, switch operation and wiring checked by a qualified technician before replacing parts.

What is the manufacturer part number?

A Lelit part number has not been supplied for this listing. Use your machine's parts documentation and the original switch details to confirm suitability.

Who should install it?

Internal servicing should be carried out by a qualified coffee machine technician. Disconnect power and let the machine cool before servicing. Never bypass the tank detection switch or other safety devices.
