How to Tell If Your Pump Gauge Is Faulty

• Needle is stuck and doesn't move during extraction
• Needle reads pressure when the machine is off and fully depressurised
• Gauge reads significantly higher or lower than 9 bar during a normal shot (after ruling out pump or OPV issues)
• Gauge face is fogged, cracked, or water has entered the body

Installation Notes

• Always unplug and fully depressurise the machine before replacing the gauge
• Apply 2–3 wraps of PTFE tape to the gauge thread before fitting
• Thread in by hand first, then tighten with a spanner — do not overtighten
• After fitting, run a test shot and confirm the gauge reads approximately 9 bar during extraction
