Carimali Group Gasket – 69 x 57 x 7.5mm

This is an OEM-specification replacement group head gasket for Carimali espresso machines. The group gasket (also called a group seal) creates a pressure-tight seal between the portafilter and the group head, ensuring full brew pressure is maintained during extraction. A worn or damaged gasket is one of the most common causes of portafilter leaks, a loose-feeling handle lock, and inconsistent shot pressure.

When Should You Replace the Group Gasket?

Group gaskets should be replaced every 6–12 months under regular use, or immediately if you notice any of the following: water or steam leaking around the group head during extraction, the portafilter handle feels loose or requires excessive force to lock, visible cracking, flattening, or deformation of the existing gasket, or inconsistent brew pressure and channelling.

How to Replace a Carimali Group Gasket

Allow the machine to cool completely before starting. Remove the shower screen and diffuser plate, then use a flathead screwdriver or gasket pick to extract the old gasket from the group head recess. Clean the recess thoroughly to remove any debris or old rubber residue, then press the new gasket firmly and evenly into place. Reassemble and run a blank shot to confirm there are no leaks before use. Bear Coffee Machine also offers professional in-house servicing if you prefer.
