Your rights are protected under Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
3. Our Return Policy
At Bear Coffee, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your coffee products, we offer the following return options:
3.1 Return Timeframe
- 30 days from the date of delivery for unopened products
- 14 days from the date of delivery for opened products (if quality issues)
- Products must be in original packaging where possible
3.2 Eligible Returns
You can return products if:
- The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
- The product is not as described
- You received the wrong product
- The product has quality issues (stale, off-taste, etc.)
- You're not satisfied with your purchase (unopened items only)
3.3 Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns of:
- Coffee products that have been opened and used (unless defective)
- Custom or personalized items
- Gift cards or digital products
4. How to Return Items
To initiate a return:

- Provide your order number and reason for return
- We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if required
- Package items securely in original packaging where possible
- Send items to our return address (provided in return instructions)
5. Return Shipping
- Defective/Wrong Items: We pay return shipping costs
- Change of Mind: Customer pays return shipping costs

- We recommend using tracked shipping for returns
- Bear Coffee is not responsible for items lost in return transit
6. Refund Processing
6.1 Refund Timeframe
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive your returned item
- It may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider
6.2 Refund Method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- Credit card refunds are processed back to the original card
- PayPal refunds are processed back to your PayPal account
- If original payment method is unavailable, we may issue store credit
6.3 Refund Amount
- Full purchase price for defective or incorrect items
- Purchase price minus return shipping for change of mind returns
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

We offer exchanges for:
- Different coffee varieties or grind sizes
- Size exchanges (where available)
- Defective items

8. International Orders
- International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable
- Processing times may be longer for international returns
- Some international locations may have different return policies due to local laws
9. Damaged or Lost Packages
- Report damaged packages within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of damaged packaging and products
- We'll work with shipping carriers to resolve issues
- Replacement or refund will be provided for confirmed damage
10. Quality Guarantee
We guarantee the freshness and quality of our coffee products. If you receive coffee that is:
- Past its best-by date
- Stale or has an off-taste
- Not properly sealed or packaged
Contact us immediately for a full refund or replacement.
11. Refund Delays
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:
- Check with your bank or credit card company
- Contact your payment provider (PayPal, etc.)
