Over time, mineral scale and coffee oils block the screen’s perforations, causing uneven water distribution, channelling, and degraded espresso quality. Regular cleaning and periodic replacement restore even extraction.

How often should I replace the shower screen?

For home use, the shower screen should be cleaned regularly and inspected every 3–6 months. Replace if the perforations are blocked and cannot be cleared, or if the screen is warped or corroded.

Does this fit my machine?

This 52mm shower screen (MC137, ø5mm centre hole) is listed for the Lelit, Isomac, and La Pavoni models above.
